This session is open to all union organizers with an interest in workplace health and safety issues.
It is particularly designed for individuals who have accepted the responsibility of health and safety, health and safety committee members and department delegates.
This session is the essential starting point for health and safety training. It is the prerequisite for The Union’s Role in Prevention offered by the federations. This session provides participants with an understanding of their role, enables them to effectively assume responsibility for their union in the area of health and safety, and, in the short term, take over and become operational respecting the existing health and safety files.
