Union Executive Training 1
Description:
This training is intended for newly elected members of the executive committee. It provides an opportunity to understand their responsibilities and learn how to better fulfill their respective roles (president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer). Participants will become familiar with the union’s operations, the conduct of general meetings, and the history and services of the CSN.
Through this training, participants will develop the ability to plan and organize union work, as well as analytical and teamwork skills to solve everyday union problems. Finally, they will gain an understanding of the values and principles that guide the CSN in its practice of militant and democratic unionism.
This two-day training will take place on April 22, 23 and 24 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Michel-Chartrand Room, 2nd floor, 1601 Avenue de Lorimier, Montreal.
