Union Steward training
Description:
Union Stewards learn how to better fulfill their role as union representatives for the members of their department, service, or unit. Through practical exercises, they improve their approach to engaging with members, listening to their needs, and defending their interests and rights. Topics also include the union’s democratic life, the role of the union council, communication, and mobilization. Union Stewards gain a deeper understanding of how the CSN operates so they can answer members’ questions. Executive committee members responsible for Union Stewards may also participate in this session.
This two-day training will take place on December 8 and 9, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in Room 1610, 1st floor, 1601 Avenue de Lorimier, Montreal.
